Transmitters are working overtime,
And the synapses has to wonder –
If one’s emotions have fallen flat!
And the brain is asking, “What is that?”
This has to send chills up your spine!
Endless currents across the membrane
Altered by the pumping of the blood –
These thoughts of love, and its pain,
And driving an innocent person insane!
But who can define another’s mind?
A moment of sanity that love overtook,
And leaving common sense behind –
Erogenous zones not found in a book,
Neuronal excitability takes its own time!
