When the apple is ripe it will drop,

   The seasons will come and go,

   And there are things we’ll never know:

But things go on without a stop –

   Look at the mountains standing tall

   The streams – we can’t count them all!

 

So we have to live life and do our best,

   All things both great and small –

   There is no way we can hate it all,

But though I have to say life was a test:

   It’s is just a journey from our birth

   A chance we were given here on earth!

 

So please stop and look all around …

American once again can wave her flag with pride!

 

But “The Democrat Party” they all hate the man!

Because they are afraid the truth will come out…

So the treasonous bastards contrived their plan –

And from The Halls of Congress they shout!  

 

A glorious day of reckoning is about to unfold…

And with a vision for 2020 you are about to see!

So just sit back and relax, and enjoy the show –

Pelosi, Nadler, and Schiff refused to let it be!

 

All the states will turn red – first time in our history,

When I drink from a cool spring

When the sun drops from the sky,

   And the winter nights are long

   The wind sings its own song –

Heartaches are seldom seen . . .

   Knowing it needs a good cry

   Sadness it holds from a lie!

 

When the moon drops from the sky,

   Remembering when I was young,

   And words fell from my tongue –

Sadness is seldom seen . . .

   The times a heart may bleed,

   And the times it is in need!

 

When the truth drops from the sky –

Maybe there will be no need to cry!

HO - HUM

 

I do think it is probable

That life as we know it will change –

Talk about what has been hidden

I mean there are so many things!

 

But none of us like change . . .

It takes us out of our comfort zone –

Yes we all get a little complacent,

Hell! Just leave us alone!

 

Of course, we never know the facts

Left in the dark – a guessing game –

The rich get richer – poor get poorer,

But nothing ever stays the same!

 

Days of complacent are dark and long,

But I’m tired of singing the same old song!

The adversity I've had to endure

It was worse than being dragged

But all in all I have stood tall

And with God's help I endured it all!

There are winners, and they’re losers

Caviar and connoisseurs . . . 

Some say we are just dreamers

Seeking riches and following schemers,

But everything in life is a roll of the dice,

And I forgive you for not being nice!

What is life, if you don't take a chance?

You know, it always takes two to dance!

You see life is just a game . . .

And if I lose it's only me I have to blame!

But this I can say, at least I tried –

And over losing I've never cried!

But do you think a big bang caused that?

 

No one knows how a bumble – bee flies . . .

But the arrogance of men still tries!

 

The wind comes without an invitation . . .

But no one knows where it lives!

 

The seasons change with no help from man –

But do you know God’s plan?

 

Did you notice that the birds always sing –

But have you ever heard one complain?

 

Each day has the same amount of time . . .

But why do we waste it away?

 

We all are made in the image of God . . .

But then we forget life’s purpose!

 

In our spirit there is this longing . . .

But we forgot this is not our home!

 

A beautiful life that has been given . . .

But it was God our sins were forgiven!

REFLECTIONS ON PAPER

Every morning I sit and draw upon the things within my

   soul.

The paper reflects the thoughts that are hidden from the

   world.

I’m sure in time or in later years someone will discover

   who I was.

I rise early each morning with a burning desire to see where

   my mind will take me – to see if I can go where others have

   never been.

It’s funny how a blank sheet of paper can evolve into works of

   an unknown adventure.

I understand that the world is too busy to stop and search for the

   things that make them work.

When this life is over, and they bury me in the shade of an old oak

   tree people will never know the love that was stored in me.

To this world I leave the reflections of my soul, in hope and trust

   that you don’t judge a heart that you never knew.

NO MATTER WHAT

 

Nights and days become long

When a heart does someone wrong –

The darkest nights of our soul,

When our minds are out of control!

 

Words are lodged in our throat,

And with lies we try to coat –

Pain and agony we can’t shout

Until it finds its way out!

 

Then in secret a heart will cry,

And a bit of our soul will surely die –

Truth will prevail no matter what,

And we will feel ashamed or not!

 

Now the soul is empty like a cup –

When fatal and broken it gives up!
