The best of plans that we lay –
The hurtful words that man can say
Then flowers will bloom in early May,
But time
hides in the shadows –
Along the edges of a rocky crest,
I look around at all of the depressed,
And I wonder how we got in this mess,
So many issues they can’t be addressed,
And on and on life goes . . .
But time
waits not an hour!
Some say it’s better to be heard then seen,
But I think it lies somewhere in between,
And maybe I’ll wake up from this dream,
A fact, to
make biscuits it takes flour!
So come to the table – take your place
Then hold hands and say the grace,
Speak words of honor – never lose faith,
And know
this, only God has power!
