SELF-GRATIFICATION

 

It's just a moment in time

Then it's gone

All that is left is a memory

So I ask, “What did I gain?”

Did wisdom elude me?

There is a thin line

Between sanity and insanity!

Did I cross the line?

Did I lose my mind?

Then I was thinking...

I had to be drinking!

Self-gratification

Then it's gone!

And now I sit all alone...

Life is like a vapor

Time is like a flash of light

Puff!

Then it's gone!

What was I thinking?

I had to be drinking!

Rationalization

That's the key!

Never take responsibility

Why would I want to blame me?

Self-gratification:

When a sound mind takes a vacation!
