The Daylilies bloom in March,
For their beauty for us to see,
Near the sidewalk standing tall,
In their beauty, beauty, beauty for all,
They wait for daybreak, they wait for light,
And to see them is such a delight!
So take nothing for granted,
Just enjoy the beauty God has planted.
As people drive by everyone will look,
And with little effort it took,
A beauty you don’t read about in a book –
A graceful time when your mind is shook,
And in this tender moment one can find,
An empty world they left behind!
And to the heavens they will arch,
But remember the Lilies bloom in March.
