A PRECURSOR

 

Quiet mornings

When I can clear my mind

A calm time

Letting my world unwind

Before my day goes crazy!

 

On the desk I shuffle papers around

It’s just bills I’ve found –

Sometimes it can be quite profound!

 

I love mornings

A time when I can gather my thoughts

Look at useless things I bought

Before my day goes crazy!

 

Is this a precursor, I have to wonder,

Then I hear thunder . . .

 

The Lord forgives me when I blunder!
