Thoughts are racing through my brain
Allowing the world to drive me insane!
Logic and reasoning has all gone . . .
And I only have myself to blame
Right from wrong, it all looks the same!
But every day I just keep carrying on . . .
The road of life has many turns,
And all I can do is watch bridges burn!
The memories of yesterday are crying
Locked inside of a broken heart –
I would let it go, but where do I start?
The world I knew is now dying.
The room is quiet – outside it’s dark!
And I think, “Why does time fly?”
In life I have always played my part,
But the only question I have is why?
