FAITH

  

Faith, it’s something we all need to have

Hidden deep within our soul –

Like the spirit that we cannot see . . .

An alarm that lets us all know:

If one of you says to them, “Go in

peace; keep warm and well fed,”

but does nothing about their physical

needs, what good is it?

 

Faith, it’s something we all need to have

Hidden deep within our soul –

It helps us to put trust in things unseen . . .

When only the darkness will show:

What do you want “You foolish person,

do you want evidence that faith without

deeds is useless?”

 

Faith, it’s something we all need to have

Hidden deep within our soul –

So believe the sun will rise each day . . .

And the moon each night will turn gold:

“But whoever has doubts is condemned

if they eat, because their eating is not

from faith; and everything that does not

come from faith is sin.”
