I THINK TOO MUCH

 

I believe a heart can see,

And the eyes can deceive!

I believe the spirit whispers

When troubles are abound –

So I have to pay attention,

And not let myself get down!

 

Something I sit and meditate

On things I need to let go –

Yes! I guess I think too much

About things I need to know.

 

First thing in the morning

I take inventory of my life –

I know I can only live today,

And regrets cut like a knife!
