Our lives are marred with change,
And this shall follow us until death
Like the waters that drift with time,
The scars left upon our face,
The scald is now in its place
Some may find this a little strange
Simplicity eludes the rat race
Words given in a whispered breath
If quietness can only find ones mind.
In the midst of life we hear fatal
cries,
Sadness, cutting like the butchers
knife,
Pain, hides like the night
With little care and seldom strife
All of this we try to cover.
But the truth is reveled in our eyes.
These shadows seem to be brief,
Surely time will give us relief,
Tomorrow will somehow be bright,
And yesterday’s filled with delight.
Our worries will soon be over.
The darkness will always return.
Our spirits will dreadfully yearn
For truths hidden deep in our soul
Searching the universe above,
For the one that gave us our birth-
And this is the only thing we need to
know:
“For God is the answer to all we love
And this shall be till the end of the
earth!”
