The sun rises at dawn
While most
are still in bed,
And the world outside we can’t see
So what is
there to dread?
Briefcase in hand - out the door,
The world
before us we can’t see –
Each step we take – we take in faith,
And pray
that evil will let us be!
We have to focus on what lies ahead –
Our world
today is very strange,
This is a truth we all have to face!
Our priorities
we have to rearrange.
Life is not like the good old days,
Today our
world is ruled by clowns –
Power, money, and greed, just a few,
I know, so reversed
it all sounds!
Some say just flow with the tide . . .
Some fly a
rainbow flag of pride –
I say we all need to turn to God first!
In truth –
from Him we can’t hide!
