Look inside of me, O God!
Pound my heart into submission –
Take away my need for control!
And let me see Your great works.
Look inside of me, O God!
Open my eyes to Your perfect truth –
Let me look beyond my own needs!
Take me to the highest mountain,
And there, let me see Your glory
The glory of truth and not of men!
Look inside of me, O God!
And let me know who is in control –
Now I can rest in total peace . . .
For it’s Your wisdom I know!
