A VOICE TOLD ME

 

How does a mind find rest?

   A small voice asked me –

First you have to believe

In things you cannot conceive!

Just look at a rose unfurl,

And do not ask of the world . . .

In life, you’ll sing your song,

Make decisions right or wrong!

   That’s what a voice told me.

 

So where does my mind find rest?

   The voice said, “Believe in me” –

My wisdom is wide and deep,

Remember you sow what you reap,

And the world leaves out in the cold,

But my words are like pure gold –

So open your eyes and see . . .

God, Son, and the Holy Spirit are three!

   That’s what a voice told me.
