I have pretty much reached a conclusion:
(Life is filled with confusion!)
You see most people don’t give a damn!
And our government – well that’s a scam!
This is a fact: “It does no good to worry,”
But look around – everybody is in a hurry!
The fake news is nothing more than a lie –
Hell if I were to hear the truth I would cry!
Friends, this old world is upside down –
I’m not sure where our future is bound!
I know we are to stay calm in the storm,
But that thought is hard to form . . .

To know the simple truth is an illusion!
