LOVE’S GAME

I’d like a different thought

   For every broken heart –

A better idea I’ve sought

     It doesn’t need to be right

 Just one that won’t fall apart!

    I need to sleep at night

    While all the stars shine bright!

 

A true heart no one will ever see

   So, it’s this that I thought,

 Should I keep love hidden in me?

      O I guess I have a fear of pain –

   So, it’s love I’ve always fought!

     I just need to learn love’s game,

     And not let it drive me insane!
