TRUST IN THE LORD

 

The morning is so warm and clear,

   That gives my heart a song –

Like angels singing from heaven,

   To God alone my soul belongs!

 

Trust in the Lord, and not of men,

   And know that Jesus is King –

The world is overseen by Satan,

   And it’s only sorrow he can bring!

 

In the quietness of my soul . . .

   I know, God is watching with love –

As the day comes together quietly

   Like raindrops falling from above!

 

The morning is so warm and clear,

And today, I’ll choose not to fear!
