RAINDROPS OR TEARS

 

When this life is no more…

And the wind doesn’t knock at my door –

And when April fades away…

When there are no more words to say…

And when my eyes can no longer cry –

And then it will be time to die,

But there will be memories to recall…

And the raindrops will still fall…

But this is what you need to remember,

It’s only love that a heart can surrender –

Just look back at all of the good times,

Raise the glasses and make your cheers!

I’ll forgive you if you forget sometimes,

But darling please don’t shed any tears.
