I
tied my shoes
I
turned on the news –
The
world has gone mad,
And
it leaves me sad!
The
weak of mind
Are
so inclined . . .
A la carte for a fool,
And to hell with the Golden Rule!
There
seems to be no end
Common
sense they can’t defend!
But
life goes on . . .
It
matters not who is right or wrong –
I
turn out the light
Truth
will prevail and make things right!
