At
the keyboard all alone –
Thoughts
racing in my mind
I
have nothing but time!
O
the words I try to form –
It
seems my spirit is torn . . .
Thoughts
from long ago
Of
a love I used to know!
It’s
funny the paths we take
My
mind is barely awake –
Thinking
of a dream I had,
And
remembering I was sad!
In
the shadows of dawn . . .
You
won’t leave me alone!
