I’M GLAD FOR ANOTHER DAY

 

Darling, the perfect words I’m trying to say:

(I’m so grateful just for another day!)

The Lord has given us a lot of years –

The love, the laughter, and even some tears!

I know I’m guilty of taking life for granted,

Like all the flowers that God has planted –

But Darling, I’m doing the best that I can!

Burdens of making a living was put on man –

Look at all the pleasures that God has given,

And all our mistakes He has forgiven!

When my eyes open, I’m glad for another day,

It’s just that life sometimes gets in the way –

So, smell the roses – drink a glass of wine

One day God will not grant us anymore time!
