WORRIES PUT TO REST

 

It’s heaven on earth

When I’m in your arms –

Here I can find a safe place

To put my worries to rest,

And dry the tears on my face!

Life’s troubles I can erase,

And know your gentle charms

That only a woman can birth!

Yes, my life is a mess,

But with you I have no sorrow,

With my head upon your breast

I will wait for tomorrow

Knowing I’ve passed life’s test –

And put all my worries to rest!
