At the grave site she mourned her love
Upon a cold
winter’s day –
As the wind twirled from above,
And the
tender words I heard her say:
“All these heartaches I have to bear!”
As she
placed the flowers on his grave,
And then she grasped for a breath of air!
He always
told her to be brave,
But now life seemed to have no meaning,
And
tomorrow she must face alone!
On her own understanding she was leaning,
And in her
heart she knew that was wrong!
At the grave site she mourned her love:
Knowing that
God was crying from above.
