CAN YOU IMAGINE

 

Can you imagine sitting all alone?

Can you imagine the loneliness I feel?

Can you imagine being abandoned?

Can you imagine the pain that my heart feels?

Can you imagine someone giving you a bath?

Can you imagine someone dressing you?

 

I sit in silence every day!

I sit with my memories of yesterday!

I sit and stare out the window!

I sit and long for my family!

I sit and wonder if anyone cares!

 

I remember when you were conceived.

I remember when I first saw you.

I remember your first smile.

I remember your first toy.

I remember your first birthday.

I remember your first day of school.

 

Can you imagine the memories I hold of you?

Can you imagine all the hugs and kisses?

Can you imagine the sacrifice I have made?

Can you imagine if this happened to you?

Can you imagine being tossed away like trash?

Can you imagine the love I still have for you?
