GOD WILL SPEAK

 

“You may have all the money you need, and more” said

   He!

“But little do I care, good man, love comes first,” said she,

“So what really matters in the world,” pride cried –

There is only one fact, rich or poor, they all have died!

 

Listen to your heart, know what is true in life, and hear

  Your spirit call,

And then think, “All that we mass is temporary, and know

   That God owns it all!

Stop and take inventory, and ask, “What is it I truly need?”

And know, in your heart of hearts, most of it was greed!

 

To most I know this sounds strange, “Is it money you seek?”

Or is it peace and contentment, it seems to be a simple choice

   So listen, “Truth God will speak!”

JUDGE ME NOT

 

A package was left at my front door

The young lady I’d never seen before –

On the camera she appeared old,

With her baggy jeans and an afro –

But she was working with such delight,

And the sun was shining so bright!

No one knows about people it seems –

Their ambitions or their dreams . . .

On the package I find this little note –

Such beautiful words she wrote:

“I once was young and beautiful too,

And I still believe in the golden rule –

But like others I too have grown old,

So judge me not as you watch me go!”

COBBLED STREETS

 

From the soy fields of England clay

Where horses and cattle slowly walk;

The smell of sweet clover upon the dried hay,

And the smoke filled pubs where people talk.

For its tomorrow we cannot ever frame

And the times spend playing on the grass;

Yet today as yesterday remains the same,

And tomorrow if it comes will surely pass.

The cobbled streets with buildings left to right,

And the whispers of people rushing by;

Soon another day will fade into night,

And before tomorrow I may die.

A HAPPY HEART

 

Tears of joy, laughter, smiles of delight

   When one’s heart sings,

Let the endorphins dance in your mind

And troubles of this life we cannot find!

 

Sunshine now fills this cloudless day,

Storms may come, but they fade away!

 

Good thoughts rule, it’s a must!

Get out the dancing shoes, clean off the dust!

 

Not a moment in time is there to waste,

Our time is here, it’s here at last!

 

Our wait is over, prepare to celebrate

   With a heart of joy;

Now love each other to death; a new art

Sing to the heavens with a happy heart!

DOWN FROM THE MOUNTAINS

 

I came,

Drifted

Down from the mountains,

The sky was so blue

Stars so bright,

A cool February night

I walked alone

The road was my home

Clothes on my back

A gunny sack,

And a smile

I mere shadow

Of becoming a man,

God holding my hand,

No worries

Patches on my jeans

Tall and lean,

Curly waves in my red hair

Singing a tune

Looking at the moon

A beautiful night

All is right

Tomorrow will come

Rivers will run

There will be storms

I’ll bear them all

As I recall

The words my dad said:

“If God is with you

Then never be afraid!”

Yes, I remember

To that I surrender

Then I smile

Just one more mile

I came,

Drifted

Elon Musk is taking the Government down!

It’s all corrupt – let’s make that clear,

Always the guilty one’s scream the loudest!

They drink champagne while we drink beer.

 

The left don’t want us to know – so they lie!

Look at all the things that they demand –

Cry on Elisabeth Warren your day has come

“We The People,” are taking back our land!

 

God has stated: “All things will be revealed!”

And the wicked tongue will be tamed –

So cry on and on you worshipers of Satan!

You’ve been called out – you’ve been named!

 

Elon Musk is taking the Government down!

All of your evil deeds are being found!

THIS GENERATION

  

Peace and mercy upon this nation,

If our status is (Big or small)

Humble ourselves before God –

And remember He loves us all!

The table is set – let’s come and eat

The fruits of life are so sweet!

Remember we all reap what we sow,

It’s time, listen to freedom ring,

And to be thankful wherever we go!

Our forefathers gave us a plan –

But now it seems so long ago . . .

Just look who has fought and died!

“America the beautiful,” God’s land

Where we raise the flag with pride!

God gives us our daily bread  . . .

And to remember we all bleed red!

Peace and mercy upon this nation,

And to serve God in this generation!
