CONVICTIONS OF DEATH

 

Freedom is a God given thing –

And we have no right to complain!

Otherwise it’s a shame –

For us to find others we try to blame!

And we never forget those

That fought and died for this land!

So never fill your minds with doubt!

The lanterns in the Old North Church

Reflecting a light that never goes out!

So stop and look back,

The hard roads that our patriots took,

And the Liberty Bell that cracked!

 

Freedom is the only thing we have left –

The Eagle! Hear its mighty cry!

Freedom will sustain us until death,

And for her are we willing to die?

A WAKEUP CALL

 

From the gulf coast I’ll find my way,

“I’ll give you hell,” This I can say!

(I am Helene) the perfect storm –

“I’ll be hell on earth,” This I warn!

The rivers cannot hold my rain –

And people cannot endure my pain!

Your world I’ll turn up-side down,

Peace and contentment is not found!

You arrogant people on your high horse

Death and destruction will be my course –

Please don’t forget who has the power

As you sit pretty in your Ivory Tower –

So I guess you forgot about your God?

This is a wakeup call – A little nod!

Donald Trump

What do you say?

From the sounds of

Bullets on their way!

 

“I’m a patriot,

I’m America’s son

I’m the chosen one,

And I’ll never run!”

 

I have a purpose,

Just wait and see

“MAGA”

It’s not about me!

 

Then and only then

I’ll make my stand

I’ll bare the cost

To free our land!

 

I love America!

And it’s me you hate?

Soon I will say:

“Checkmate!”

O bitter lips! Watch what you say,

And your tongue is evil,

Say words that are good!

There is truth, there is truth, understood?

Truth in a heart brings it delight,

And you will sleep well at night:

Watch what you say,

Then you will enjoy the day!

 

A choice – strengths’ comes from the roots,

Lace up your strings – put on your boots!

Read a chapter of God’s holy book –

Now in your heart – take a look,

And there you will find,

“A heart that’s tender and kind!”

O bitter lips!

Words that sink ships –

Watch what you say!

BEFORE COFFEE

 

Morning comes early

   From a knock at my door –

I stumble through the dark

   Sounds I couldn’t ignore!

I peeped through the keyhole,

   And to my surprise!

It was a lady dressed in white

   With glasses over her eyes!

I waited, I opened the door:

   “Sir my name is Judy,”

I’m with the Democrat party –

   (I’m lobbying for your vote!)

“I didn’t mean to be a smarty,”

But I hadn’t had my coffee yet!

   I bleed Red, White and Blue,

And what I said I don’t regret:

 

“Mama, see that Trump sign in my yard!

Apparently you’re some kind of retard!”

IT WAS YESTERDAY

 

Time is going by so fast!

I cannot believe all that has passed –

I try to remember an old love song,

But I guess my memory is gone!

On the news I thought I heard,

But the man’s words were all blurred!

I tried to listen – what was he saying?

Maybe it’s time I started praying –

It was yesterday! I just turned around,

Time dissipated without a sound!

I guess I need to go for a walk . . .

Then to myself I begin to talk –

O the words that flow from my tongue:

“Dear Lord, how I wish I were young!”

WE ARE ALL FOOLS

 

Have you ever felt like a bird in a cage?

Do you wonder why you’re filled with rage?

 

The spirit was made to feel free . . .

But man has put his thumb on you and me!

 

Have you watched an Eagle glide on the wind?

That was not given by men!

 

Only God has the right to tell us what to do –

But the Devil has made us all a fool!

 

A liar opens his mouth – this is what I heard:

“Don’t believe in God, and ignore His word!”

 

We are all fools – there I said it so plain!

They try to tell us we’re not all the same!

 

In truth, we all need to go to church –

Otherwise we will sit on the Devil’s perch!
